I'm old enough to remember the first time they tried puck tracking on Fox network. With the terrible definition of tv's back then it was almost excusable but there's no reason for it now.

Hard fought victory against a desperate Sharks team that wasn't allowing much time and space out there. I'm loving how the Canucks are showing teams that there are no easy points to be had in their barn, a crucial element for any successful playoff run. Enjoy the break boys, well earned.

Travis puts Jake on the first line for defensive balance, not for offense. On most nights the first line with Brock can outscore their loose defensive mistakes but against a stingy team like Arizona (and a divisional game to boot) it just makes good sense to put Jake on the first line. I only remember Peteys line spending one shift in their own zone last night.
