You do understand there is more to a GMs job than just the players. There is also the matter of pleasing the fans which in turn pleases the owner because he is selling tickets. Spending to the cap was just putting butts in the seats.

Just under the league average in size would make him a larger forward as the majority of larger players are defencemen and goalies. You may want to look at weight as well as just height.

Playoffs here we come. The Canucks have made significant changes since last year. The changes made late in the season and the off season have made the Canucks a much improved team. Good chance there will be another addition before the season starts.

You just don’t get it. It goes right over your head as it seems you can’t see the forest for the trees. There are lots of imperfections in the forest you can point to however the forest is awesome. JB’s job was also to put butts in the seats and ownership was willing to pay the price. You really need to get out of the garden and check out the rest of the forest.

Lol.... just a regular schedule will be better than last years schedule.

Another factor in favour of the Canucks making the playoffs this season is the schedule will be much better this season compared to last years. The schedule last year most definitely affected our team in a negative way.
