I think Edmonton says no. I had to think about it, but I'd probably pull the trigger on it, especially if we start showing that we're still closer to the bottom tier of teams. If we're in the playoff race, I'd be really hesitant to get rid of Gudbranson.

@-AJ- Me too. That’s why if we’re sending him to Edmonton we should be asking for nothing less than Puljujärvi. 

@Jimmy McGill - I agree that offense isn't his primary role. I think we can both agree that being a stay-at-home shutdown defenseman is the role he's being used in. With that said, can you provide me with a metric that supports that he's doing that well?

My point was that the only thing Guddy is supposedly good at is hitting and leadership. The problem is that most of the time he makes big hits is because he put himself in a bad position to begin with and had to make up for it with the hit. I acknowledge his leadership is valuable, but I don't think its worth his asking price and I'd rather have a 2018 1st rounder over it.
