    Two of Myers/Sutter/Eriksson, one or two of Rathbone/Juolevi/Hoglander, Stecher, probably another prospect/AHL player and definitely our 2021 1st for OEL and a depth player coming back is probably going to be around what the offer is, if not more.

     

    Which, to get someone like OEL and to get rid of one or two of Myers/Sutter/Eriksson’s contracts is a no-brainer.

    There is no clear goalie to really take over the next generation as the league’s best. Carter Hart stands out to me but other then that it is kinda of in the air. Demko.

      No, because Myers' contract expires in five years, while Loui's expires in two. Unless we send both.

       

      But yeah, ideally we don't pursue.

      I’m fine with that, but all of our Prime Ministers have oversaw genocide in various forms and many Prime Ministers were explicitly racist. As a racist corrupt drunkard, Sir John A Macdonald seems to be one of the worst.

    Watching Bettman present the Cup, I got shades of Trump from him when he said "it's the greatest and hardest trophy to win"... don't other leagues also have long playoff runs?  Such self-promotion

      if football had best of 7s or even best of threes, it might be similar.

       

      hockey's the most taxing sport, and basketball and baseball are the only other sports that have 3-4 rounds of best of 7.

       

      and the whole trump/bettman schtick might just be that they're both rich new yorkers trying to advertise their brand.

    Okay, gotta admit commissioner Bettman did it right this time. The bubble playoffs was nothing short of outstanding, all things considered. And interestingly I found myself watching more games this year.

    Okay so Tampa is quite cap-strapped and we are in a position to capitalize.

     

    They have 5mil in cap space to sign a combination of whatever 5 RFA's and 5 UFA's they want to keep.


    These RFA's include Stephens, Cirelli, Verhaeghe, Cernak, and Sergachev.

     

    Some of those players are worth the picks.
