Refs ruined this game for me,. They’ve been great at doing it a lot this season. I get that it’s a fast game , but there’s stuff happening right in front of them that they let go and other stuff that’s marginal that gets called. They need a ref in the time box getting instant replay when penalties occur that can be reviewed by the time the player gets into the box and the line changes are made.

It’s true, that part of the city he was living , right beside Rogers arena stinks to high hell of weed and urine , 1 or 2 blocks away is where most of homeless and drug addicted habitate , what’s wrong with calling it out , it’s disgusting. Whats wrong with a player being honest? I read the interview he gave related to this a few years ago, I must say it differs in language that you have put in abbreviated. He actually also said he loved playing here, and the fans were incredible,. He used to love the cheers he would get when he played physically in front of the home crowd.

Well I see “down the road” as a year away , that’s when Silovs becomes an RFA ,. it’s all depending on this season. Great playing RFA’s call the shots these days. Silovs performance will dictate it , and probably a long term contract and dollar value that leaves Demko movable before he asks for a 7-9 mil contract for over 6 years. id say it’s “sooner than later” seeing Silovs performances over the past season.

5m for 3 years would bring back great dividends for a top 10 goalie. This has been a great stage for Silovs to perform at, he has also played great at the Canucks level . With Koskenvuo playing well, this ensures he gets that foothold in the AHL. It’s going to happen anyway,. Also That injury to Demko was lengthy , one wonders to what degree it was.

You can have a McDavid, Mathews, or a Bedard on your team,. but if you don’t have Goaltending , you don’t sniff a cup.. Goaltending is severely overlooked in this league until it comes time to compete for the Stanley Cup. Mrazrek is UFA in a year , and Stalock is one. Demko is an excellent goalie worth a top pick to any team rebuilding. Silovs will push Demko out within the next 2 seasons, and Koskenvuo will be not far behind that.. it’s hockey , and anything can happen.

Silovs is amazing , stopped 40 of 41 to beat Sweden and take Latvia to the Final. Demko - Boeser ( add Hoglander or Garland) and our 2023 1st rnd pick for: the Blackhawks 2023 1st rnd pick (Bedard)
