  1. Just my opinion, But to say that a 21 year old rookie to us is not an NHL’r in his short time here, Is saying Willie Desjardins was an outstanding Coach in the NHL , and the management we had at that time was completely balanced. Id put more weight on Tryamkin being able to be an NHL player at any point in time, given the fair opportunities of proper handling.
  2. Speaking of kicking ego.. 21 year old rookie , kicking ego .
  3. Going to the farm wasnt in his contract, just like many other players from outside of North America. Desjardins was a terrible Coach , he gave players like Megna, Chaput, Vey more ice time and opportunity. They fired Desjardins and offered Tryamkin a new contract that same season end.. but The Canucks had waited too long and Tryamkin left back for Russia feeling not needed. 2 years later Tryamkin waited for 2 months for Benning to clear capspace and rejoin the Canucks.. again , Benning didn’t, couldn’t make the room. Tryamkin signed back with Avtomobilist for 3 years.. he is as a UFA now, and should be treated the same as any UFA hoping to sign in the NHL, by any team. The present Canucks Coaching staff is one that would work 100% better with Tryamkin than in the past, as previously no Coach or anyone in management spoke Russian. There are at least 4 players and one solid D coach who speak Russian. Tryamkin in the 70 games played with us showed himself worthy of of the resign. His play to date is worth another opportunity. More so, an opportunity to correct this missed opportunity by Franchise and Player. a one year “show me” contract, for this powerful defensive shut down player is a no lose situation. Especially with our potential cap space. ”uncoachable” .. by a Coach that couldn’t Coach , makes a lot of sense. Tryamkin performed better in his 70+- games, tha Desjardins did in his entire stint. WD himself said he didn’t talk to him, usually had the Sedins try to guide him. This is the perfect opportunity to grab this player, at good value, with Gonchar and Foot I see him here for 2m or less for 1 year.
  4. To me , that’s a more brutal move than what Bertuzzi did. Although the outcome was different,. It’s the action that’s worse . Trust the NHL not to get it right .
  5. Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety for his cross-check on Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone, the league announced Wednesday. “Just an unfortunate play,” Benn told reporters Wednesday. “I think I need to just be more responsible with my body and my stick. I put my team in a tough situation. … “It was my first shift of a game on home ice when you’re pretty jacked up and down 1-0. You’re trying to get your team going. Emotions are high. It’s just an unfortunate play.” Benn said he has not talked to Stone, but is glad he is OK. “Obviously, I would have liked to have not fall on him and I guess use my stick as a landing point,” Benn said. “I usually don’t talk to other players in a playoff series on other teams, but I saw he was OK so that was great.” The Golden Knights lead the series 3-0 with Game 4 scheduled for Thursday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and SN NOW.
  6. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/stars-benn-to-have-hearing-for-cross-check-on-golden-knights-stone/ previous offender should get treated the same as Bunting, in the least.
  7. Dumb ass. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/stars-benn-to-have-hearing-for-cross-check-on-golden-knights-stone/
  8. The thing I can see happening with Bedard , is asking for a trade under the same scenario and time frame as M Tchuk. just sayin
  9. My mistake, I didn’t think he was under contract or signed yet.. only announced as “upcoming”
  10. Shanahan is the biggest ego in the entire franchise. Dubas brought the Leafs back into contention hockey and out of the pit, and was doing Shanahans job. The Leafs haven’t had a goalie since Mike Palmateer. They didn’t need Shanahan,. and they don’t, They needed a Goalie.
  11. The Blackhawks do not deserve to pick in the first round for 2 years, or top 10 for 5 years. A rule, like this, should have been in place years ago. The tolerance by the League regarding sex and discrimination is condemnable. Teenagers need not be faced with keeping their mouths shut when being put in these situations.
  12. Just my opinion,. But I think this series is the Stanley Cup Final,. Will be the best hockey we’ve seen yet.
  13. The trade was perfect in the sense we got rid of the underwhelming Horvat. Trading the Isles 1st rnd pick (now 17th OA to the Wings) for Hroneck, while still acquiring Beauviller and Raty was a fantastic move . Thinking that keeping the 17th pick was going to change anything on the Canucks for the next 5 years is a stretch . We still have moves to make from now until Christmas.
  14. Houston Aeros . …. And IF it happens, open the Teams Re-introduction to the NHL by retiring Gordies Sweater. The biggest problem in the Coyotes situation has been the shear ignorance of an inevitable end by Bettman and the NHL. No other team in NHL history has had the blind support that Phoenix has received. A move is not new news.. but far overdue .
  15. Always interesting to test your limits ….. should have known there was a Hockey Mentality in him
  16. Someone posted this last year ,. I think it’s Dynamic ,. But the Original / Classic , Stick in Rink on a Stealth Blue Jersey would look fantastic.
  17. Jacked Tup !
  18. All Big City Dreams and Wishes aside, If we bump up into the top 5 , the lottery is definitely rigged.
  19. What I want to know is how the hell did they get 100,000 SeaHawk fans into an 18-20k seated arena! The Roof was loose and the Ice was Krack’n.
