Thanks for the input, y'all. I pay my bills every month have a bit of credit card debt to pay down (also student loan debt, but I've got a good handle on that). I think I spend way more than I realize on incidentals (hockey fandom, food, activities, etc.). Looking at my bank account today I realized I should have a good chunk of money left over for savings each month, but apparently I spend almost all I have!

I'm almost 28...I need to start seriously saving for retirement :-(

Find a job/career you enjoy (unless you’re already in one) and never retire.  Keep spending and enjoying every dollar you earn:)
