  1. That Rich Coleman is some kind of piece of work. Guy blames the NDP everyday on Twitter about the status of our province when it’s projection of exactly what he and the Libs did and caused in our province. Waste of skin and jail would be a kind place for him. He deserves the worst to come, unfortunately I don’t have confidence anything will happen. Too far too deep into this rabbit hole of corruption.
  2. Exactly a little bit of both. They don’t want any offended backlash by suspending all flights from a country. At the same token, they would never want their tourist money train to stop coming into the station either.
  3. But we are more worried about hurting feelings than saving lives. That sounds bat soup crazy but it’s the truth!
  4. Welp got my cases of N95 masks and really limiting my time in Richmond as much as I can. First case is now here and the way our health officials are treating this threat I’m sure we will have more confirmed cases tomorrow. Everyone is coming back from the lunar new year. Party on Wang!
  5. Always love going to CDC and Canucks subreddit for the memes and giggles. Thanks for sharing. Great gutsy win by our young and maturing team. We have two studs in net and I would rather be thankful for having such a duo then to be worried about losing it. Whatever happens with the ED will happen but can we just enjoy this season for what it is? A team that’s on it’s way to becoming relevant and a mainstay playoff team. Not there yet but with wins like these, we aren’t too far off. 3 point lead for the division is a great way to wake up in the morning.
  6. I really don’t have confidence in our screening systems in place. With how long it incubates without symptoms is alarming. Will be keeping my eyes on this with the two cases in TO and hoping we will finally close flights to and from China. The fact that the health minister says our risk is low is a bloody joke. Stop thinking about losing money and start thinking about saving lives and protecting the safely of our beautiful country. The fact that our PM was tweeting out about the Grammys then anything about the Corona Virus just shows where our priorities are right now. Everyone be safe especially @smokes all the best down there man. We are hoping for the best for you!
  7. Yeah sure let’s wait a little longer... https://mobile.twitter.com/i/events/1220416677990420485 'Too early' to declare coronavirus outbreak as global health emergency, says WHO The World Health Organization declined for a second day to declare the pneumonia-like coronavirus a global health emergency. China confirmed that the death toll has reached 26 and that 800 people have been infected
  8. Oh for sure 72 million reasons to sell the property would compel most to do so. It’s a big win for the owner, big loss for anyone in Vancouver looking to fill up before getting out of town on the 99 on Georgia street. That used to be my station before I went up to a Whistler almost every weekend. But in the owners case it’s his land and he’s laughing all the way to the bank in his Tesla where the rest of gas dependent drivers have fewer options to fill up in the downtown core.
  9. That Esso that used to be beside West Beach on the corner of 4th and Burrard is gone now. There only remains the Petro Canada on 4th and Cypress on the south side of kits. I do like that shell on main and 2nd. It’s my go to fill up before I head home whenever coming back from downtown. It always has the cheapest gas in town most of the time. But again not enough of them to go around. I wholeheartedly agree that our city infrastructure can’t handle the volume of congestion as it is. We are late to the party and we will see how long until the ride sharing bleeding red bubble finally pops. But hey today marks the day it finally arrived, For the better we hope.
  10. I hope this works out and surely will be nice to have other options than be at the mercy of wither that cab will come or not. My biggest issue is the fact that there is one standing gas station left in the downtown core, you know the place where everyone wants to go to on the weekends. Not sure how long the that gas station on Davie and Burrard will be there for as the owner of the land has interest to sell. So good luck to all the Uber and Lyft drivers getting gas in rush hour downtown on a Friday. https://bc.ctvnews.ca/mobile/last-gas-vancouver-s-sole-remaining-downtown-gas-station-for-sale-1.3363976
  11. It’s finally a blessing to have cheap and young depth that is being sprinkled into the lineup. Rather than having to go out and overpay for stopgaps. Unfortunately for players like Stetcher and Leivo it’s the end of the line for these depth pieces because others below can produce the same and come in for cheap. Where as these two will be looking for raises. It sucks but this was the plan and this is the way. I agree with most of what the OP has down except I think you can get Gaudette for 1.1-1.8 a year if it’s a show me contract and Jake is closer to 2.5 then 3.5. But everything else looks accurate. Hopefully most fans don’t drink the “cap hell” koolaid that media fear mongering folk such as Rick Dhaliwal love to regurgitate into the fan base.
  12. When a spotter (league) has the power to take a player out of the game (Bo Horvat during the Buffalo game Dec 7) when there was no penalty or call on the hit to the head. Sure opens a can of worms if it effects the outcome of a playoff game.
  13. I’m sure when Seattle comes in, they can take the flames spot. Red deer is no Penticton that's fo sho.
  14. Well done and congrats man! I’ve seen some of your work in the photography thread and it’s well deserved. Looking forward to see some nice shots in September.
  15. Same here! I have to shower after the game. But seriously who the F is this Hague for Vegas?!
  16. Jack Eichel is a fresh example as he kept having ankle injuries that derailed his young career. Now he seems to be on track to be a force for Buffalo. Career is still young for him but he sure was snake bitten to start out.
  17. Damn I was really hoping to see BOTH Toronto teams out of the playoff bar. That’s too bad but plenty of games for those Marlies to lose and both farm and parent clubs miss the playoffs. Which will shut the Toronto media up until Mr. Matthews has another full moon evening.
  18. Great going Podz! Now that he has his first he will get his mojo going and bury more. First of many for the big Rusky, well done!
  19. I’m still hoping Mr. Lockwood will be a fixture in our organization. Would be great to have two players that come out of our 2016 draft class. Funny how it wasn’t a little while ago that some posters thought that draft year was a write off.
  20. Currently 4th in the conference and tied for most goals scored overall in the AHL! Very solid season so far. Just have to try and stay healthy. I hope Bro and Baer come back soon.
  21. Amen to that @Viper007 When it’s all said and done the 2016 off season will be a year all GM free agent shoppers wish they had stayed off their phones. So many max deals with ridiculous terms and NMC. Thankfully Louie has played well as of late and he doesn’t have a NMC like Lucic does, but it’s the Flames that have him so good riddance. The real Louie Louie has just stood up his game and the fans can get off his donkey for little while.
