Management keeps on getting delusional we have some contending core awaiting to burst out. It's like they are geting slapped by results of bottom dwelling season after season and they don't want to wake up. They will be forced to face reality eventually.. in 3-4 years.

In a year where even Blueger gets a 3rd... Boeser or Garland better get something in return.

I can stomach and understand the Hronek trade if they manage to pull a Miller or Boeser trade especially with a 2023 1st involved.

Because they judged that a 2023 1st + 2nd is worth more to their team. And we paid that.

Mediocrity is our synonym. Eventually, may be in 3 years.. They finally realize we need a full rebuild.

Yeah Captials have basically thrown in the towel , and focusing on the future 5 points out of a playoff spot. If this was Canucks management, we would be throwing awaying our 1sts and 2nds to buy.

Rangers are downright scary adding Kane. So much for all the teams going all-in this year in the East. I think Rangers will go all the way.

Technically Canes already made their moves with Burns and Pacioretty.

No crap , captain obvious. But it's never us that makes a smart trade like these that fills our cupboards. Even though, we have been bottom dwellers for how many years now? Like almost 10 years...? The best trades we made were trading Burrows and Hansen for Dahlen and Goldobin? Or Bieska for a 2nd? The why not us implies this. Thank you though, captain obvious!

Uh.. Zetterlund and Okhotyuk aren't solid prospects? I dont know what planet you live on...? (In fact, I'd rather have Zetterlund than Raty. ) How's it on par with Horvat lol, Mukhamadulin as a return alone is way better than Beauvillier + Raty. Beauviller is someone NYI deems expendable and thrown in the equalize cap. Hes kind of like Boeser, will occupy you a top 6 spot, a passenger not a driver, and you can replace him with basically anyone and produce similar results. This is why NYI throws him in.

What a huge haul the Sharks is getting for Meiers... So sad that we were basically talking about Boeser and Meiers in the same sentence of quality just a couple of years ago. Some CDCers even think Boeser is better than Meier... Now Meiers is getting this boatload and we can't even find any takers for Boeser for the bare minimum. Compared to the Horvat trade, the Meiers trade also wins by miles. 2x1sts, Mukhamadullin, and 2 solid prospects. And I was defending the Horvat trade..... Sorry but this Meier's trade puts it to shame.

Why on earth would Tampa Bay add Boeser? Have you been following them and their moves the last few years? If anything, they will pay draft picks to keep Boeser off their team. They actually have a smart management team that knows what to do to win championships.

um. Because the whole point of a comparsion is to compare apples to apples. If you nitpick what stats you like and only post those, then it is called subjective bias. Not sure why I have spell out something so simple..

Was defending the Virtanen pick, but hard to ignore how good Nylander is after seeing his play yesterday. Seeing how much better Nylander is over Virtanen just makes you think how much Benning botched the 2014 and 2016 drafts. So much for people worshipping Benning as a draft God when hes clearly botched 2 years worth of high first round picks.

He's the guy who's requested a trade for over a year because he couldn't crack higher minutes. At least hes big though.

Pretty sure hes the type of guy who signs a 8 year deal and doesnt give a jack anymore. Huge no.
