@Bell There's not a chance in hell the NHL would approve the relocation of a team out of Vancouver. It's a top 10 market year in, year out. Even when the team sucks. We shouldn't give Aqua even one iota of goodwill because he "keeps the team here".

Coach Green's bag skates have been proven to be subpar evaluation tools for players.

I guess it's to be expected when he lets go of young players in favour of 'vets'.

Chiasson, with all due respect to him as a person, is basically an energetic Player Name. I am not criticizing him as a player. I'm criticizing the fact that Green gifted him top PP minutes, despite proving very little in the preseason.

I'm not opposed to a coaching change, as like a lot of people I'm getting tired of seeing this passive style of play, and some questionable roster decisions. I'm hoping part of Shaw's job interview covered the possibility of taking over the head coach position if we go on a long losing skid...

That said, we're 1 win out of 1st wildcard spot, 2 wins out of 3rd in our division. It hasn't been the ideal start at home, but it's a long season with a lot of hockey left, especially against opponents within our own division.

Not giving up hope that they can turn it around.

I just don't think the players are buying what he is selling anymore. Same thing happened in Ottawa but that was made public. It is time for a change. I have always liked Green & I still like Alain V. but no matter how good you may be as a coach eventually, its time.

He's running out of time.  Did a good job when we were starting the build.  Was for keeping him, but i think change is good.  Maybe best to do the change when it is most needed though for maximum effect.
