  1. Not sold on that sorry - Bellator is a step below UFC and look who Chandler has lost to over there.
  2. Shows you the different level Khabib is than the rest of the division
  3. That leg is done and big mouth Chandler better take notice of that
  4. Dustin is the real deal man - and couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. He's the real deal - big respect man.
  5. I am thinking Macgregor takes Poirier's head off and sets up a title fight with Chandler - I don't see Khabib coming back
  6. Yeah he didn't look like the normal Dan Hooker
  7. Looks like we have a trade folks - just popped up on my Sportsnet feed (no link yet) - Laine and Roslovic for Dubois https://floridahockeynow.com/columbus-trades-pierre-luc-dubois-to-winnipeg-for-patrik-laine/ The Pierre-Luc Dubois saga which so quickly escalated in Columbus came to a quick solution as the Blue Jackets made a trade with Winnipeg, sending their top center to the Jets for All-Star forward Patrik Laine. The swap of disgruntled 22-year-old forwards — Laine’s agents reportedly told management during the offseason the team should think about trading him — may not be the landing point either player wanted but gives their new teams some fresh talent. The Blue Jackets also got center Jack Roslovic back in the deal as the Columbus native would not sign a contract with the Jets this season and had been working out with the Jackets’ junior team. Columbus sent back Dubois and a third-round pick. Florida had interest in acquiring Dubois but once the bidding war opened between multiple teams, things got too rich for the Panthers’ blood. Sign up today for daily, in-depth coverage of the Florida Panthers from George Richards For Winnipeg, they acquire a first-line center who will likely take over the second line with Mark Scheifele up top. As would have been the case with the Panthers and Sasha Barkov, adding a second high-end center gives Winnipeg a very powerful 1-2 punch up the middle. Laine, who incidentally is one of Barkov’s closest friends, gives the Blue Jackets some serious scoring pop and a nice right-side pairing with either Cam Atkinson, Oliver Bjorkstrand or Boone Jenner. In his four NHL seasons, Laine has scored at least 30 goals in three of them; he was at 28 last year when the NHL cut short his season. The Panthers visit Columbus on Tuesday although it is not known whether Laine would be in the lineup due either because of COVID-19 quarantine or U.S. visa issues.
  8. So..... can you pick a player off waivers and then trade him back to the team who put him on waivers? Or does he have to go back on waivers before being traded?
  9. Since my Seahawks are out is there really any other team to cheer for than the BILLS!!!!!!

    1. ImConfused

      brilac

I don't watch football, but I'm disappointed that the Seahawks are out.

    3. Squamfan
  10. Lo I love not only his optimism but other analysts who pick the Oilers - what exactly did they upgrade from last season that makes anyone think they will be any better? I think they might have the weakest goalie tandem in the division if not the league lol
  11. I lived in Winnipeg for a year - maybe he spent it all at one of the Pony Corrals? Pier 7 was my fav place to spend my hard earned cash on food and drink.
  12. You have to give it to Travis though - he stuck up for a team mate - something we need more of this year.
  13. This guy is dangerous - my new fav in the UFC is Kevin Holland - DAMN!!!!
  14. Man Joaquin Buckley - I missed his previous knockout but this kid is something!!! Beverley Hills Ninja is no slouch either but Buckley made him look very ordinary.
  15. This is a great topic and I am sure we will see some amazing debates. I went with Coffey as my selection and then thought about it for a few minutes and and changed my vote to Bourque. Purely from a stats perspective of course. I think it would make more sense to pick the best of each decade or even Era as there have been some amazing players over the history of the league and I don't think it's a clear cut as the debate over who is the best player ever. Looking forward to all the responses
  16. Ted Lasso = Jason Sudekis is amazing in this series 9/10 Perry Mason (HBO) - loved the cinematography in this one 8/10 The Watchmen (HB0) = another great series as i felt they did the movie/graphic novel justice 9/10 The Outsider (based on the Stephen King novel) - not a bad adaptation - Ben Mendelsohn was fantastic in it 8.5/10 Currently halfway through Raised By Wolves - great so far
  17. My fav native son from there is: Hans Hedberg, sculptor known for his ceramic fruit.
  18. I have been very fortunate over the past 2 years to be able to meet and interact with Joey! His energy and drive and love of life was infectious and I am a better person for knowing him. My heart goes out to his family and friends - a true legend not just in Edmonton but for the NHL and his advocacy for people with disabilities to be treated equally.
  19. I like what Chandler is thinking but it needs to have Justin in it: https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/michael-chandler-calls-for-four-man-tournament-to-crown-new-ufc-lightweight-champion/ And I have to chuckle that he automatically adds himself into the four man tournament over Justin Justin vs Conor Dustin vs Tony winners compete for the belt
  20. And with that arguably the GOAT says he has retired - love it when guys go out on top! He deserves it - really hope he does hang them up for good.
  21. Jesus what a beast - Kahbib making a statement as GOAT folks!
  22. How so? They still have the same defense and goaltending as last year.
