      You know - all this b&tching about taxes yet nobody complains about our tax dollars giving that clown a place to spout his stupidity (side note Don - doesn't look like you bought a poppy for your suit ) - and yes I know he does a lot for veterans and our military but its kinda hypocritical to call people out and yet he has an embroidered poppy on his suit.

    Say what you want about Lucic...but no longer willing to enforce? Look what he did last night...I would take that 10/10 times over LE floating on the 3rd line.

      Paying a guy 6 million a year as an enforcer who averaged 8 minutes of ice time and also took an extra 10 minute misconduct penalty and really should have received an extra penalty for the punches he threw isn't really necessary in today's NHL. McDavid got manhandled at times last year with both Lucic and Kassian on that team. Milan is a dinosaur who is near extinction - at least guys like Reaves and Patrick Maroon bring value by contributing where it truly matters - on the scoreboard.

    i may have 2 free tickets to the van/ott game on sept 25th. would like the tickets to go to 2 cdc members. anyone or two able to go on that night? send message. don’t know yet how to transfer tickets but canucks.com will tell me how.

    What I love most about Toronto's situation is that their "strategic" approach in taking on LTIR players means that they cannot accrue cap space during the regular season. So Marner's cap hit for the upcoming season increases each day for the same contract proposal given before the season has begun.

      Yeah very valid point - I keep forgetting how America is such a litigious society. Not only that doesn't matter what country you are in you never know if the other person has a weapon etc. I guess what shocked me the most was how long security took to get involved.

      Its a sad comment on society in general when two grown men can assault two women and it takes how long for security or anyone else to step in? We don't need to worry about International Terrorism when we have crap like this occurring in our so called amusement parks

      I don't disagree he made some nice moves but to brag about his cap wizardy and  compare him to Holland is a bit much. The Nylander deal really painted him into a corner and they will have cap issues for the next few years and have they improved enough to take the next step? Not so sure
