I was thinking about this yesterday while channel surfing the Leafs Devils and the Jets Wild game. The whole Lu Schneider thing was plain ridiculous. I can't imagine not having Horvat here either as he is one of very few youthful contributors, and I've yet to become a fan of Nurse.

@Green Building some of these deals as they went down didn't make any sense at the time but some credit is due, for the gillis regime and jb's ,TL'S out look on things.

Yeah Gillis wasn't perfect, but he took a team on the verge of doing something great and made sure they achieved. Unfortunately we fell just a little bit short. My secondary issue with Gillis was failing to recognize the team's issues post 2011, or recognizing them and not being able to do anything about it for reasons like... alienating himself in the old boys club of GM's. 

My primary issue is the fact that Anton Rodin, Brendan Gaunce, and Ben Hutton are pretty much all we have to show for his years of drafting here. Pathetic.
