      I always thought it was 2-2 Capt..but the yrs roll by, & memories can sure fade.

       

      Think Lysiak was the big, young star that many wanted to see that game. Also recollect someone hammering a one-timer from the low slot, which hit Ridley in the throat. We were sitting at that end, & a hush sure came over the crowd.

      A story on him by Ed Wiles from a couple years back. I had forgotten it was him in net when they shutout Moscow Spartak.

      Thanks for the article 4petesake.  I remember that game vs Spartak very well too!  Someone had a hattrick in it, if I remember correctly, and I'm thinking it was Rick Blight.
