    buzz is they will have regularly scheduled practices this year so it is conceivable that melanson can coach lack and markstrom

    they need a vet because they haven't played many NHL games yet. what if we just played them both in the nhl games we have this season, then they would be better goalies from the experience and we can save the money for a scoring winger or a RHD PP QB?

    torts was brought in to "keenan" this teams core. He did a masterful and thankless job of exposing our clubs strengths and weaknesses. we know exactly who the character guys are in the core group now, who will bleed blue and green till the ship goes down, and who needs to move on. time for a new era in canucks hockey and thanks again torts for the quick turn around and precision dismantling of our old gaurd

    No one on the canucks will be bought out this summer. booth has one year left, then maybe a new contract at a lower price or maybe not.
