I do not see him going to the AHL for long if he does,only to get used to the ice size and how we want him to play so he will be ready when he steps in the lineup!

Moving forward we have many young players and time to let them play as I see Gaunce playing for us next year!Additions will be made at the draft and off season,but I don't see us making anything to big,or the other way and owners see he makes no money and gets JB to go after a type of player like a Staal and then trading a young C for druoin or other winger so we then have three good lines and a 4th that will work hard!

I hope gaunce can put it all together and make the team next year!

I just do not think Benning has really done anything so bad.hunter would be on the team if they thought he should be there or proved he should.AHL is not the NHL and Hunter was given a shot to make the team and he didn't and probably wouldn't have made this team next year.We got a player that in the minors had stats the same if not a bit better and has made the NHL which in my books makes this trade so far better for us.Changes had to happen and we all knew this,but if trades are not what people like I can only say thats life not all is what we want!

That I highly doubt.JB is cleaning up what MG did to this team and making us younger.He drafted us players that are playing in the NHL unlike MG!I just think a couple moves were questionable but altogether he has done a great job and is doing what he said he would!

Jake should play for team canada and play well.Doing so will boost his confidence and then be reinserted into the lineup and show why he should stay,other wise he will be sent down,but given one more shot before that!

Get rid of Friesen who will be an AHL lifer and replace with vey and that should be our team,only other change would be Horvat and Sutter which will come mid season!

I think Boeser will stay down a bit longer unless way more trades are done and by the sounds of it people here on the boards hate when anyone is trade for anything less then 3 1st's LOL!

I think if Jake makes the team Benning will know prior to start of the season and we would trade one/two players and might get a D upgrade!I just can't see him making the first line,3rd/2nd at best which would give us three great lines and a 4th thats hard to play against!

I think our forwards depending onSven abd Sutter,but if they play as expected we should be a better team at forward then last year!

I think our D will be decent and goaltending should be great!

Now that Sutter is resigned Van won this deal by far!

I agree edmonton could have been better if they let the young players make it in the nhl instead of throwing them in.Many of the young players would be stars now instead of one or two!

I agree he is a good player but 100 goals??I got that with making a player and games are so not close to being real!
