Big Dakota Joshua, 26, W/C, 6'2, 205 lbs will for sure only play for Vancouver Canucks this season.. Joshua has something Vancouver has been missing for years, big body that can skate make big hits and drop the gloves.. Dakota shows his game last night clean big hit that injured other player then dropped his gloves and made some good plays.. Go Joshua Go ! Plays 8--12 minutes

Severson 28, 6'2 RD will be a UFA next summer at age 29? Making 4.1 million this year and had 46 point last season.. Will demand at lest 6 million X 6 yrs next summer if not more? I think Vancouver will go after a younger RD with trade and possibly signed?

New Jersey Devils defenseman Damon Severson has spent the entirety of his eight-year professional career in New Jersey, but with his contract set to expire at the end of this season, his time in red and black could be coming to an end. Severson told the media today, as relayed by James Nichols of The Fourth Period, that contract talks between him and the Devils have not yet begun. That doesn’t mean that a deal won’t get done between now and next summer, of course, but with the signing of Dougie Hamilton, the recent Jonas Siegenthalerextension, the acquisition of John Marino, and the eventual arrivals of Luke Hughes and Simon Nemec, it’s definitely possible that the Devils don’t see room for Severson long-term in their top-four. The Philadelphia Flyers issued a few injury updates today, as reported by NHL.com’s Bill Meltzer. Per the update, both Artem Anisimov and Carter Hartare dealing with lower-body injuries, and Cam Atkinson is dealing with an upper-body ailment. All are officially day-to-day. While these injuries don’t seem likely to have any major impact on Hart or Atkinson, an injury could pose an issue for Anisimov, who is in Flyers camp on a PTO and is battling for a roster spot.

The projected roster will need more NHL players? Isn't there a rule 11-12 NHL players in exhibition games? This projected roster has 7 and I am counting Burroughs, Juulsen Keeper. The only regular NHL players are Dickinson, Lazar, Hoglander, Dermott.

Bo Horvát is a #2 centre on most teams. He will score 25--30 G -- 55--62 points-- 57% face-off circle, Solid 200 foot. guy.. Very lucky to have 3 top notch centres.. I sure hope Horvat can be signed for cap hit AAV 6.6--6.8 million X 7 years.. I do agree at some point you have to say no to Horvats contract if over 7 million? I think he has had a decent camp. The NHL scrimmage games will be the real test. I would think Keeper is in range 7---10, see how it plays out..

Linden trade was a fantastic trade for Vancouver....Burtuzzi - McCabe - 3rd pick -- McCabe was key in getting the twins and we seen how that turned out--Bertuzzi was a fantastic power forward for years.. Great trade.. Linden's was on down slide right time to make that trade..

The second pairing D men will get more then 17 minutes.. Myers on second unit and PK he will log at least 21--23 minutes minimum.. His partner would log at least 19 --21 minutes

I really think Canucks will sign and announce the new Horvat contract before season starts October 15th. As much as everyone has there own opinion and we must all respect that?
