I love it when Rutherford and Allvin are interviewed they don't get answers.. Ridiculous how media takes a answer and make fun out of it..Most media guys are ridiculous.. Bo Horvát will be sign before October 15th -- 7 yrs X 6.8 AAV -- Front loaded deal.......

Petey and Quinn are the only top guys not in town yet? They must be arriving this week?

Do we have the wiggle room to offersheet Ryan McLeod?
wildcam replied to CanucksJay's topic in Proposals and Armchair GM'ing
Something like Carolina did with Montreal? Canucks are not going to get in that game right now.. Most Canucks do with little cap space is sign depth #7 D man maybe ? Wait until RD man that has to clear waivers in October.. -

Edmonton would match 2 million..Offer sheet would have to be front loaded.. Canucks don't have much money so no offer sheet will happen.. -
(proposal) 9 player swap with edmonton for the lulz.
wildcam replied to Bad_BOI_pete's topic in Proposals and Armchair GM'ing
Edmonton would never do that ..lol..lol.. Most unrealistic..Never Only in NHL 2022 video game would that happen... . Bouchard 22, 6'3 - stud D man is worth so much alone..Future 50 point D man McLeod 23 6'3 - power forward- great skil Only good player Edmonton gets is Hoglander.... Bouchard.--- Vancouver Podkolzin - Edmonton.. Only way Vancouver get Bouchard....Don't think Bouchard would be in any trade to bright of future.. Break out season 2022 -- GP 75 - G 12 -- PTS 45--50 -
So excited to see Rathbone this season... New management have watched Rathbone enough to know how much skill this young guy has. Rathbone has the elite skating and skill.. Rathbone will have fans excited... Go Rathbone Go ! Starts as #6 and works into a # 4 D man very soon...

Great post I heard several talk show say good things about the big Joshua 26, 6'3, 208 lbs --He also had a very good AHL playoffs in 2022 - Canucks hockey guys did get to watch Joshua lots and I go on Ryan Johnson and Cull's opinion more then these negative posters on hockey sites.. Big body decent speed, great on forecheck adds so much grit that we lack.. Excited to see big Joshua use his size and grit.. Miss this type of player.. Lost Gadjovich 6'2 and MacEwen 6'3-- Joshua 6'3 is a better skater and faster..
-
Boeser with more speed would be amazing. I always say Canucks have lots of wingers.. Boeser and Garland one of these guys would be traded to make cap room or trade for RD man.. Garland 4.9 million contract much less the Boesers 6.6 million -- I really like Garland no 1st line PP like Boeser gets...

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
wildcam replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Oh yes he will play fair bit on 4th line at least half time..against some teams he will move up.. Hoglander is injury free and ready to show his speed and skill.. New management are crying for more speed ? Went out and got one of the fastest forward Mikheyev and Hoglander fits right in.. -

Pearson slow-- 4th line most nights this year-- like your 1st line .. 1. Podkolzin -- Miller - Garland 2. Kuzmenko - Petey - Boeser 3. Mikheyev -- Horvát - Hoglander 4. Pearson - Lazar. -- Dickinson -- Joshua -- Lockwood -
I think D should be okay with Bruce getting forward to set up and be a 5 man unit... Defence is the weak link but with top 5 goalie and top 8 forward lineup things are exciting.. Defence ranks say 18th --20th ?
-
Dekeyser - Health scratch several night with Detroit, 32 yrs old not that fast.. Rather get a player off waivers in October..
-
I think D will hold its own if team plays a 5 man unit.. OEL - #2 -- Hughes #1 Dermott/ Poolman -- Myers #3 Poolman/ Dermott -- Rathbone #6 #7 Schenn -- 8 Keeper --9 Juulsen --10 Burroughs Dermott and Poolman will with and play with Myers..
-
It sound like lines will be sets of 2 and alternating 3 guy on line until they get right combinations.. 1. Podkolzin -- Miller ------ Garland - Kuzmenko -- Hoglander (( will switch around on top 3 line in preseason )))) 2. Boeser --- Petey 3. Mikheyev -- Horvat 4. Pearson - Lazar -----Joshua - Dickinson -- Lockwood
-
I agree Myers is not as bad as this message board makes out.. Myers always matches up against other teams to line.. Meyers logs tough minutes and plays decent 21--24 mins..If anything he plays too much in some games..

Someone might have to clear waivers to get sent to minors? Keep fingers crossed RD under 28.. -
I really do think Rathbone with show his true skill in this training camp and pre season.. Would be so awesome to have a offensive D man on 3 sets of defence. Rathbone on 3 pairing with Poolman//Dermott ---Schenn

I see Dekeyser 32, 6'3, LD - PTO -- I don't see Vancouver signing him.. I can see Vancouver signing- Calvin de Han 31 - 6'1, 200 lbs - 1 yr 900,000 ?? There has been lots of talk... 1.Hughes LD 2. OEL LD 3. Meyers RD 4 Dermott/ Poolman RD - 6. Rathbone - 7 Schenn 8 Keeper RD 9. Juulsen RD -
Brady Keeper 6'2, 200 LBS - RD - Stay at home D man with nasty side decent speed, skating. will be fighting for #6 and 7 spot Juulsen 6'2 - 200 LBS - RD showed well in his 8 games - Defensive D man finishes big hits will be ready for #6 spot 1. Hughes 22 2. OEL 31 3. Myers 32 RD 4. Dermott 25 / 5. Poolman 29 RD 6.Rathbone 23 . Schenn 32 RD - Keeper 26 RD - Juulsen 25 -RD Burroughs 27 LD/RD 1.Hughes - OEL 2.Myers -- Dermott/ Poolman 3. Poolman -- Rathbone Schenn - Keeper - Juulsen

I see big Podkolzin 21, 6'1, 208 lbs driving to the net using his decent speed and shot to cause havoc around the net.. Predict GP--75 -- G 21 -- PTS 44--47 Podkolzin will be very exciting to watch and should be playing beside Miller...
