  1. She had a couple good points but I remember thinking John Garrett is actually pretty insightful and sharp.
  2. How's Goldy playing in Utica?
  3. Yes please. put it on youtube and I can sync to it. Please be smart and funny though. Thanks
  4. I wonder why Roussel has such a bad rap and picks up so many penalties? I know he's tough checking and tenacious but I don't find him particularly dirty, not at a Kadri or Matt Calvert level. Maybe my homer bias is showing?
  5. Goldy can be a real possibility. Just look at Jake, it took him a number of years to learn how to being a productive and defensively responsible NHL player. Goldy can still pull it off. I saw that hit you mentioned and was very impressed.
  6. Quit NBC and start your own YouTube channel/ Podcast. There is a huge market for personalities such as his. Could you imagine the stories and comments if JR had no fear of being fired?
  7. I thought Boeser made a great hockey play going to the net 4 v 4, but then I realised it was #8 not #6.... ouch
  8. We don't stand a chance of making the playoffs unless these two start to play impact hockey.
  9. I like the idea of spreading out the skill. With 9, 6 and 40 on a line I'm not sure there is enough puck to go around.
  10. If Sid could recover than so can Ferly. It may take time but we have four years to make it work and really won't "need" him until playoffs spring 2021. Canucks need to find the best Brain Tech's and give the time and space to get Ferland back into healthy playing shape. Or not, and he goes the way of Eric Lindros (albeit, obviously not nearly as talented as the Big E but similar styles and diminished play after head injuries took their tole).
  11. He’s got a little Cory Perry in him.
  12. He may not be able to hear your cheeky ridicule with his contract stuffed in his ears.
  13. I can't wait for Podkolzin to be on this team.
  14. We really should hold the media responsible for the negative spin and it’s trickle down into this fanbase and message board. It’s remarkable how little most of these goobs on the radio know about players and prospects around the league not to mention in this organization, yet they have the audacity to criticize a blockbuster trade when it happens at the draft in their own city!!! Were there any media who remained agnostic on the trade when it happened? I seem to remember all criticizing as an overpay and salivating at the opportunity to carry forward the “Dim Jim” moniker.
  15. Lind possesses an edge and physical game that separates him from the group of three players listed. I feel that even if he misses the mark of top 6 he can be very useful in a bottom six role as an NHL player.
  16. Time will tell. We have a good look at Gaudette now in the NHL and have a pretty good idea of what he brings to the table. With Madden we can still let our imagination run wild with his possible development potential. Will he break onto the team as a bonafide top 6 scorer and develop instant chemistry with our young core? Will he make the team as a shutdown centre with offensive upside (his original skill set which he was scouted/drafted for)? Or will he struggle adapting to the challenges of the pro game..?
  17. I see this potential in Lind also. A very rare mix of skill and pest DNA.
  18. I might have been stretching a bit.
  19. A perennial contender with a fully healthy lineup cuts a centerman on a $775,000 expiring contract? If you needed some patchwork help at C, this could be an opportunity.
