Can't believe the Isles made that trade. Even if Vanek re-signs, I still don't like the trade. Their 1st and 2nd is just too much. I expect Vanek to go to Minny after they get rid of Heatley, but I hope for the Isles sake that he re-signs. -

We're currently missing a top 6 forward in Burrows. Kassian just came back, give him a few games. And we still don't know what Schroeder and Jensen will be like when they're healthy. No need to overreact. -
Is there any way to make it so 2 teams can have the same player in yahoo pools?

I don't see any valid reason to believe letting the Sedins walk will benefit this team in any way.

Look at how Toews handled himself against Detroit. Certainly doesn't seem like the best leader in the game to me. I'd much rather give it to someone who won't lose it when times get tough. A vet like St. Louis or Boyle would be best for the team.

I think it will also be Crosby, but he was also the best in the world when the last Olympics happened and he didn't get the C then, so it's possible they do that again.

Yzerman is picking the teams again, right? With that in mind, along with everything else, I'd be surprised if he didn't make the team. Have to think how bad that would look for his own GM to pass up on him after winning an Art Ross.

Who do you think should be captain? Now the team looks like it will be mainly younger players, as opposed to having all the veteran experience we had last time. No Niedermayer, Pronger, probably no Iginla as well. No one really seems like a shoe-in for the C. So who would you pick? Someone like Crosby or Toews, or one of the vets like St. Louis or Boyle (if they make it of course). Tough choice.

Size doesn't matter as much on the big ice as it does here, yet he still has success. And I would say his age would be great to have on the team. His veteran experience will be needed for a team filled with younger players. I'd certainly take him before Sharp, Couture, Richards, Carter, and probably many others as well.

Why do so many people not include St. Louis in their lineup? He just won the Art Ross again and is consistently among the top point scorers in the league.

Yeah if Brendan Smith is making under 1.3M, Tanev should be around the 1M mark.

MG should know by now what happens when things get dragged out. Tanev should know he isn't worth anthing over 2M.

Now that the goalie controversy is over with, Lu will be back to playing a lot of games, which he thrives in. I expect he'll be a top 5 goalie next year. He has the talent for it, and after last season I'm not worried about his mentality. Not sure why some people doubt him so much. -

That's what happens when people from the Bruins organization are involved, bias takes place. Marchand ahead of Benn and Spezza? Oh please... And Ward should certainly be ahead of Holtby. Though I think they should be allowed to invite more goalies to begin with. 5 goalies fighting for 3 spots, yet they have 17 D fighting for 7 spots...

It's a shame that penalty kicks are used to decide games. Spain got outplayed today for the majority of the game.
