    People are making Stecher out to be a bigger loss than he actually was it’s getting pretty ridiculous.

      I think the biggest thing for me and others that didn't like the decision was both the cheap price that it cost Detroit to sign him and the lack of a replacement. It's entirely possible that Juolevi can step in right away and replace his minutes, but it's a risky gamble to take given Juolevi's dearth of NHL experience.

       

      At the end of the day, I'm almost certain he would've been back if it weren't for the flat cap.
