-American born player.
-Loved his time in NY
-this isn't the same management that traded him
-he will get a NMC or NTC at the very least on his next deal, especially if he is leaving money on the table.
Its nice to have a great 4th line... its been over 10 years since weve seen such a thing. Would be nice to get all 3 locked up moving forward. Motte 1.7 x 3, Lammy 1 x 3, Highmore 1 x 3
The bolded part is why his value will be high, it's an arms race and we have the biggest bomb. Miller could literally be the reason one team eliminates another. But what if another shoe drops first? IE Giroux? That makes the other teams desperate to keep up or even leap past.
Amazingly Mark stone is going on the LTIR so they don't need to make moves.... fear not, I'm sure he will be back for round 1 when the cap doesn't matter.
Where are these young guys jb threw away? All I could find was...
-Zac Mac... 44 games 1 goal 4 points -10
-Jo Gaj....... 25 games 0 goals 2 points -7
Absolute plugs. Certainly not worth crying about.
22 and 25 year old players who are constantly improving with big contracts is a lot different than 31 year old players who are on the downswing on big contracts. If you can't tell the difference I don't know what else to tell you.
Not on purpose but they sank like a tank. Trading everyone away after got them good young players on elc's and boat loads of cap space. If they had kept those guys they would have been drafting at #10 every year. Good enough not to he the worst team but bad enough to constantly miss the playoffs. They are in a much better position going forward and it's not even close.
