Yet none of you realize the WHL is the closet to the NHL. D minded and much more of checking. Yes the Q and O are similar but the OHL has much more depth and quality of talent which makes it hard to score. Q has little depth, all offense, a boys league.

the problem isnt johnson far from it hes a good coach look at what he did in portland crosby might put up points but hes a whinner and not everyone in the locker room likes it plus they have some thing fishy goingon there with their sports doctors letang has a stroke dupuis has blood clots i think maybe some of the team blood dopes theres no explanation why they has so many problems like that in their lineup.

He also plays on a team that have their D jump up on every rush just for the sake of offence. Just because you watched him yesterday and he had a good game doesnt mean we should go trade for him.

Horvat had one more year to prepare which makes a ton of difference, but this is still his 1st season the year he tries to get a job and become a NHLer. Let's not take anything away from this kid, he's an actual prospect who can turn into a good NHLer, when was the last we had one of those?

Yah I forgot to add that Seguin didn't go back to O for one season like Bo. Also when I said I would not doubt it, I said that because Bo has been improving a ton this year and the ceiling is super high. Odds of him having better numbers? 0.1% yet I wouldn't doubt him, he has shown everyone he can play at a high level and produce.

Been waiting awhile to point out this stat : A close comparison to Bo's first season would be Seguin when he was a rookie. Seguin: 74GP,11G,11A, 22P with 12:13 of TOI(PP time,3 points on PP) Horvat: 57GP,13G,10A, 23P with 11:52 of TOI. Now im not saying Bo will have better than Seguin numbers for the rest his career(even though I would not doubt it), this was the closet comparison between two high draft pick rookies playing 4th line time and succeeding. Bo has just been a beast.

Virtanen has in of the best points per 60 in the WHL, look at Bjorkstrand he plays 23+ minutes, Virtanen would have similar numbers. Brutal? Really?Bennett is 6 181 according to hockeydb. The guy can't do a pull up so unless somehow he is incredibibly strong lower body wise he isn't a brutal player nothing close. Bo is 6 206 and he still gets knocked around and he's built like a bull. Bennett has great offensive skills but isn't much more yet..

It is actually points or nothing for him. His defensive game is overrated. Also do realize Virtanen plays less than 17 minutes a game, 2nd pp time I believe.

U do realize that Portland team had the likes of Getzlaf, Smid, Penner, Kuntiz, Parenteau, Rome, Glencross? Penner had a PPG of 1.5 that year as a 22 year old where is he now?
