Ryan kesler the beast
Snowfall Warning for Coastal British Columbia Active for next 12 hours Locations: Metro Vancouver; Greater Victoria; Fraser Valley - west including Abbotsford; Sunshine Coast; Southern Gulf Islands; East Vancouver Island; North Coast - inland sections: 10 cm of snow inland and over higher terrain. Lesser amounts near the coast. 20 cm of snow near Stewart. A cold air mass has settled over the South Coast this morning in the wake of a weak Arctic front out of the British Columbia Interior. A low pressure system approaching from the Pacific will spread moisture across the region beginning late this evening and into Friday. With the temperature forecast to hover near zero, the precipitation is expected to start off as snow for the majority of the South Coast. Furthermore, snow is likely to continue falling through the morning commute on Friday. As the wind picks up later Friday morning, snow should change to rain near the immediate coast. However, further inland and over higher terrain, snowfall accumulations will probably reach 10 cm or more before tapering off to light rain or drizzle by late Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, near Stewart the same frontal system will give total snow amounts up to 20 cm by Friday evening. http://www.ec.gc.ca/...3AB5-1#snowfall They increased it to 15 cm Edited December 20, 2013 by Ryan kesler the beast

-Vintage Canuck-
They increased it to 15 cm Awesome! Besides, it rarely ever snows here in the Lower Mainland. Sometimes a little like a few weeks ago but not as much as other cities in Canada.

CanuckofSteel
I hope it snows a lot, I'm really pumped to play outdoors in the snow as I am going to a younger cousins birthday party. There will be a huge snowball fight if we get the amount of snow we are predicted to get.

RottenCanuck22
Can't wait for the rain thats coming to get rid of it. If you want snow that bad, go up to a mountain or something, there's lots there. Some of us actually have cars and need to drive around and stuff. Canucks_fo_life
Hahahaha, I laugh at all the people complaining and whining about snow, you know what? We get the least amount of snow in Canada, yet its Winter and we should have snow all the time. People here are spoiled, learn to drive in snow then, jesus. I have a car and have no problem with snow, its my favorite type of weather and I hope we get enough to paralyze the city again so I can laugh at all you losers. Maybe you should move to California, then you won't ever have to deal with either one of them ever again.

Lol nah man, CFL is far worse than snow, I like snow I just don't like driving with other drivers in it. CFL on the other hand is beyond pathetic. I love how someone here assumed I can't drive in snow, or that the miniscule amount thats out there right now affects me. Let me clarify, I hate driving in lots of snow because about 75% of people are bad drivers and snow just magnifies it.
