I read a doco where a Sitar player was a no show for this epic recording. Jeff made it up with his guitar. The bust up live video of this infamous. Jeff always wanted to drag some Jazz into the Yardbirds, Clapton, Beck, etc. more the Blues. Why he left? This is where Jeff went in the 70's. Even in full blown Jazz mode, no rules? With other players bouncing in and out the likes of Jeff Beck ,Rory Gallagher , jimmy page ,cris dredja , kind of an obscure band with lots of famous musicians dropping in.
