stexx
yeah that call was brutal, hopefully zack learns to take it out on the other team instead of the zebras.
Ossi Vaananen
WTF? Even at the time he threw the stick it was clearly an accident. No intent, no suspension. An official can't take a stick to the chops?

avelanch
it was an off-ice official, specifically: the guy who opens the door in the penalty box. the penalty box that Zach shouldn't have even been in because the on ice official made the worst no-goal because of goalie interference call i've seen all season (and for a number of seasons). total bs, zach threw his stick in the box, it bounced back and struck the gatekeeper, it wasn't even hard. Joel Heyman
This is good because I definitely saw Kassian charge into the box bearing his stick like a lance and batter the poor man's head in a manner Don Quixote would approve of.
Tangerines
from a clear goal, to a penalty, and now a suspension? Are these reffs on crack?

avelanch
Kassian snaps a 4-game pointless drought with a secondary assist and a +1 in the 5-3 win over Milwaukee he should have had 2 goals during that pointless streak, but they were called off due to horrible officiating, and he was absolutely ROBBED last night, twice. It's got to be frustrating for him, he's doing everything right.

It's got to be frustrating for him, he's doing everything right. It's true, he is getting quality chances. Im sure the coaching staff is preaching to him to just keep pushing ahead and the goals will come. Its quite clear he is a very talented offensive player and I suspect he'll put together a nice point streak here pretty quick.

gradin123
He may have had a couple of scoring chances in the last game but he also took a lazy penalty in the offensive zone that led to a goal against. That kind of thing gets you in the coaches doghouse quick.
SamJamIam
Another assist by Kassian today and some good scoring chances. His ability to plant his butt in front of the net is already showing its usefulness.
