darkpoet
Seems the speed of Gaunce's skating isn't the problem at least considering he had good results
GradinToSmyl
I'd say, as far as high end centres go, Henrik is pretty poor defensively. Bolland always puts up pretty good numbers against us, and he's almost always on the ice with #33.
Auximenes
do you guys think he slots in as 3rd line C right away??? I think he could do it
unknown33429
There's a reason Henrik gets +30 every year unlike Brad Richards for example who always seems to be a minus player. Henrik is rarely on the ice when the opposing team scores.

Pears
Very good pick by MG. Was hoping for Samuelsson but happy with Gaunce nonetheless. As others have said I hope we get one or two 2nd's from 31st-40th and take two of Sissons, Frk or Thrower.

unknown33429
Can you see how that is an amazingly shallow assessment of any player?

bluesman60
Brendan Gaunce and Jensen on the same line......big, skilled.....wooooo can't wait.
DeNiro
Gaunce is the answer to losing Cody Hodgson. Less offensive upside, but similar work ethic, leadership qualities, hockey IQ, and all around game. Better size and strength though.
TOMapleLaughs
Lol at him being trained by Jedi Roberts as well. The parallels of BoGo to CoHo are uncanny. Take away BoGo's willingness to drop 'em and add a smartass, 'my dad's better than your dad' smirk and you have CoHo. TOML
GradinToSmyl
Guys, are you actually arguing Henrik is a great two way forward? I love the Sedins but lets live in reality. His ability to posses the puck with Danny is a great asset since we can't be scored on when we have the puck, but there's a lot of elite centre's that are better defensively. He's not a Datsyuk, Toews, Kopitar, Richards, Kesler etc. in the defensive zone.
Baggins
What do ya mean? Gaunce is a young guy, and AV wrecks them, and then Gillis trades his draft choices just when they are coming around. Kesler might soon ask to be traded as well. The Canucks as we have known them are going to implode.
5minutesinthebox
Not really familiar with Gaunce, but seeing how everyone is so happy we got him, I was wondering if he has a chance to replace Kesler while he is injured...
Baggins
Both plausible possibilities. Did you read my explanation as to why I thought it was odd? I bet you didn't. Instead you came in here and decided an ad-hom attack was so much more suitable as a response. Panties? Right... I'm done with them now... care for a sniff ?
