Pretty funny that the lackluster part of an actor's appearance would be from his backstage promo, but he looks very promising. I'm looking forward to that match. I think Stardust is doing a great job as a villain type.

And this:

If anyone needs me I'll be trying to figure out a way for this day to never end.

It feels like it's more than just publicity for the guy. He's living out a dream of his.

It's been easier to watch the last few weeks when it's a guarantee that Cena won't show up, but his stealing Owens' momentum is still making it hard for me to generate enough enthusiasm to look forward to watching Raw. Summer Slam looks like it's shaping up to be decent, but I'm not certain how they will handle it as a 4 hour event. It will end up like these prolonged Raw's, where the extra hour will be too much filler.

Does Amell have any wrestling experience? He seemed comfortable in the ring but all he did was get in the ring smoothly, take down stardust and start throwing punches. I'm curious as to whether he could actually make it through a match.

I don't think he has any experience. He's a pretty athletic guy though, so I think he'll do alright at SS.

I think one of the other reasons that wrestling just isn't the same as it used to be is because of the internet and social media. It's just too easy to find out about wrestlers personal lives and spoilers. When I was a little kid, we didn't have all of that extra information to actually learn about someone in real life. Hulk Hogan was Hulk Hogan, no one else to us. Now, we'll see pictures of wrestlers everywhere just being normal. It really ruins the vibe.

Read this a couple days ago, but it sounds like Austin is in a way is hinting he wants to do another match, the 2 names out there are John Cena and Sting.

Man, John Cena. I got a lot of respect for that guy. You talk about a road warrior, a guy that works his tail off, shows up with a smile on his face every single day and adds himself to shows when he’s needed. Hell, even when he’s not needed, the guy just loves to get on the road, and he loves the company that much. He’s an absolute workhorse.

I’ve seen John Cena have great matches with so many great talents, but I don’t think there’s anybody that could light his a** up to a level of intensity more than myself as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. So I’d love to tangle with John Cena, and I tell you, that guy’s an absolute machine in the ring. He never gets tired. He’s a gym freak. He’s one of the strongest guys in the business. I really like what he does inside the ring, and I would really like to mess with him to see what kind of magic we could create.

Sting was over wherever he went. I think the guy is WWE Hall of Fame material. But I do believe that that was one of his strongholds way back in the day. So, that man, I tell you what, that ain’t a bad matchup and he’s another guy that I worked with many times down in WCW. When he was on top, I was kind of a mid-card guy and we had great matches. It would be great to play “Stone Cold” vs. Sting in any arena you can pick, and if you’re going to pick the Baltimore Arena, I’m down with that.

Also note: Austin also did a promo on his podcast with Heyman about a match against Brock, but later declined and said it was a mistake to make false hopes for a match a Wrestlemania.

Personally I would like to see Austin vs The Rock, if he does have 1 more match.

Chyna confronted HHH at Piper's funeral.

Sean Waltman took to Twitter today to note that Triple H was "bumrushed" by Chyna at Roddy Piper's funeral in Portland, Oregon this week in an attempt to speak with him.

Waltman wrote, "She bum rushed Hunter & said 'Sorry for Everthing!" Pathetic. She was very close to being taken down by security, whether she knows it or not, after the threats & lies she's told about him."

Waltman initially wrote that Chyna had "crashed" the funeral but later corrected that she had been invited. He noted that the interaction lasted "20 seconds."

Chyna, since returning to the United States, has been very vocal about getting into the WWE Hall of Fame. She's in the middle of having a documentary about her career and return to the States made after having successfully gotten the film crowdfunded.

Waltman recently called into the "Opie Show" on SiriusXM radio to debate Chyna on claims she had made about him and HHH as well.

Chyna claims WWE wanted her as WWE World Champion.

Former WWE talent Chyan revealed during an appearance on the Bell 2 Bell Podcast this week that WWE actually had plans at one point to put the WWE title around her waist. Here's what she said:

Yes, there certainly was, it was actually in the pipeline and ready to happen, but when Playboy came along and wanted me to pose for them, I had to make a choice. Vince told me that if I did playboy, I could never be world champion. Im a woman, I like to feel pretty and liberated (and be able to kick some ass too), so I chose playboy and was never World Champion.

Roman Reigns on Getting Hit In the Head with a MITB Briefcase During WWE Live Event
- As noted, a fan threw a replica Money In the Bank briefcase at Roman Reigns during his WWE live event match with Bray Wyatt this past Saturday in Victoria, British Columbia. Reigns recently spoke with Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald and talked more about the incident:

“I was confused at first. I thought Bray hit me in the head with the kendo stick. So immediately I was like, ‘Aww man. You’re about to get it, brother. Aww, you’re about to get your [butt] whooped,’ but then I looked down, and I could see the briefcase. So then I’m trying to piece this thing together. If you see the video, you see me stand up to where I kind of got a little bit hot. Once I was able to process the situation in a matter of seconds, I knew what needed to be done, and our security team took care of it.”

“It was just a bad choice by a 31-year-old man, throwing briefcases at entertainers while they’re busting their [butt] for you. Everybody was on top of it. He was escorted out, briefly after, and luckily for me, [the briefcase] was plastic, so it didn’t hurt, but it’s scary. What if it was something that could have hurt me. Hit me in the eye. I’m a character and a sports entertainer and a wrestler, but I’m also a father and a husband and a provider. So for me that’s scary, because I’m just going out there to put on a good show and provide for my family and take care of my future, and if somebody takes that away from me... For what? For 10 seconds of Internet fame. That’s tough to deal with. That’s hard to process.”
