Provost
They have to get their enjoyment where they can... it certainly hasn't been on the ice in recent years. I think it sets up Vancity or someone else to make up their own commercial. Something simple like a player being told by his agent that he is being traded to Edmonton.... cut to his really hot wife packing up the kids and leaving him rather than moving there. Or have the player refuse and cut to him happily serving fries at McDonald's saying "hey, at least I don't have to live in Edmonton!" For Calgary... you just show a bunch of players in their jerseys being called up to win a golfing trophy.
drdeath
The moral of the Gio one is that he's really a fan of the Green Men and won't stand for silly imitators copying their bit
Smashian Kassian
Not a big deal, just wait till Sunday, Oilers will feel the wraith first, then Flames will get it later. This will only add some extra pleasure to the next W we get against both teams. Besides if the commercial favored us we would all love it.
Laoag
Iginla sucks. RNH sucks. Hall's injury-prone. Kipper's a sieve. Let's move on the the big boys now (Chicago, Detroit, LA)....
Miller32
Whatever, we'll take them to school on the ice.
Tragoedia
I know but they are taking it on a different level by hurting Canuck fans. What if Boston copies this?

Common sense
iginla is amazing, RNH is a stud, Hall's injury-prone and kipper is solid... you're a tool.

CHodgson9
Say what you will, but Eberle is a quality person and I'd love to have him on the Canucks. He is EXACTLY the type of player we need (clutch scorer, great passer, and he's got open admiration for the Sedins and many of the Canucks). He did the commercial, and he's using it as an opportunity to be a great role model in the community, I as a canucks fan support him and wish him well. That being said, when they're on the ice, I'll obviously be cheering against him.
miked1101
I thought the green men one was pretty funny when I saw it last night, but I knew it would get a reaction here... Who cares? Just part of the rivalries with Alberta. People who are saying they can't wait until Alberta turns into a wasteland and the oilsands run out are pretty pathetic imo. It's just a game. EmployeeoftheMonth
That was the best hit we'll ever see Eberle lay out. Commercials are pretty funny.
babych
They are so shameless Not that it really angers any of us, it is really a pathetic thing to do. I guess they don't know how it feels to win where it matters
BuretoMogilny
I just saw the commercials where Giordano slammed one of the green men into a storefront and Eberle hitting an innocent Canuck fan in a theatre lineup and not letting him in to watch a movie (Les Miserables, I think). I am enraged!! How can these Albertan teams molest and abuse Canuck fans?! The Canucks have to fight back!!! Someone in BC make a commercial as a revenge!!! Hit an Oiler! Punch a Flame!!! .......rant over. Good night.
BuretoMogilny
Don't worry. In 20 years when the oil sands start winding down, their water supply will be contaminated Alberta will be a deserted wasteland.

saskanuckfan
in the last 3 seasons here is our record between the 2 failing Alberta teams: Versus the lamers we are: 11-4-3 Versus the Oil we are 13-5-0 thats a combined 24-9-3, HAHAHA thats alot funnier than those commercials! ThaBestPlaceOnEarth
Heckling fools who have the gall to sport our rivals' gear might be what I missed most of all during the lockout. Time to get that hate fired up again! Gotta be careful though, nothing worse than cussing out an old woman in a Portland jersey.
