Ilya Mikheyev
The year before lockout he paced for 12 goals, and the year before that he had 20. Not really tough enough for a 4th liner. So he must be starting off as a replacement for Ebbett. He's been pretty dynamite at the AHL-level, so at the very worst it's a good pickup for the sake of the Comets. Plus, he's a local-guy which sometimes pays off in a little additional effort. If he can bounce back to a 30-40 pointer though, it could end up being a steal.. Should note that the year he had 41 points on the Panthers, he played on the same team as David Booth, Chris Higgins and Jason Garrison.

Edler's Mind Tricks
Great. I'll do some more research, and the numbers aren't out there as of this posting, but we definitely need depth at centre.
