Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
How so? Sure he might not be the best player out of all of them, but is exactly what a power forward is (well for the first couple of games last season) plus im sure homer Canucks fans will pick him
Master Mind
I'm pretty sure there are only a few players that are true PF's (Clowe, Lucic, Stewart, Iginla, Clarkson, Kassian, Clifford, Bertuzzi, upcoming: Wilson)

Ferlands_Head
Well Nash is being nominated so I guess so... What I consider a TRUE powerforward is a player that's big, stands up for teammates, protects the puck well, intimidating, and isn't afraid of anyone. No one's scared of Nash
Bite me Burr
Your description is more fitting for a goon than a powerforward imo LOL. John Scott fits your description...I think a true power forward is a player that is effective at using his size/strength to overpower opponents to make plays, score goals, drive the net hard, throw huge hits and cause havoc in front of the net. Alchemy Time
Voting Getzlaf Nominating Nash. Just cause he doesn't drop the gloves doesn't mean he's not a PWF. I'm not entirely sure Ovi is a pwf, so I won't nominate him yet.
D.Doughty
Voting bertuzzi Nominating Nash Anyone who votes otherwise is a moron. Bertuzzi in his prime was considered the best powerforward in the game on the wce

pdc
I don't know, i'm pretty sure, even if we're talking about history, Bertuzzi's still second to Iginla
Alchemy Time
If we are talking all time, I would put Neely above both. I agree with you, Bert as best of all time is a big stretch

TOMapleLaughs
Where's Ovechkin? Nominating and voting for him. Best scoring forwards with decent hitting ability (by order of hits connected last season): Backes Brown Callahan Lucic Ovechkin Doan Bickell Brouwer Kunitz N. Foligno (ask Coho) Ladd Getzlaf Morrow Clarkson Byfuglien at forward Ryan Simmonds Kassian (yay) Hartnell Penner M. Richards Ruutu Perry Malone Nash Horton Stewart Cole OV isn't noted for being a true power forward, but he still lays plenty of guys out with crunching hits. Combine that with his hart trophy-winning awesome scoring ability, and he's the best guy on the list, easily. On paper. The problem is he's always looking for open ice, and not battling in the crease to get those hard-to-get goals, even though he would dominate there as well. 'The Russian Factor' seperates him from the other guys on the list. Backes hits a lot, and he hits like a truck, but his speed and scoring ability isn't quite there. Brown has a bit more offensive flair than Backes, but dives a lot. Callahan hits like a truck, but is hurt a lot. People love Lucic in this category because he also drops 'em a lot. Does that make him the best true power forward? Or best goon? There are a few great scorers down the list that aren't exactly great hitters. Or they don't hit enough. (Noting the Perry dropoff in this category.) Nash is also a great power forward 'on paper', but he doesn't hit enough. In fact he floats most shifts. Definitely the best true powerforward category is a highly-debatable one.
