He had 9 goals for the Avs in 40 games on the heels of seasons with 53 and 57 points. The Leafs don't need Stastny. Kadri deserves a shot at first line time with JVR and Kessel. Lupul, Bozak and Clarkson round out their top 6 nicely and Bolland can step into a top 6 role in case the injury bug strikes. I honestly think the Leafs should stand pat at this point. Phaneuf is on the block because he probably won't be back after next year, not because the Leafs are in trouble financially. Didnt think he had a great personality , but if I had broken ribs Id be whining like a baby .. If it were for a reasonable price hed be a great addition to any top 4 in the league ..
