sakage.shinga
Hey guys, Doing a quick two-day trip to Victoria this weekend. My family has been there before and has visited the usual suspects, e.g. Butchart Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, Inner Harbour, etc. This time, we're wondering if there's any easily accessible parks near Victoria inner harbour that offers a scenic view of the coast? We will have elderly people with us, so hiking over rough terrain isn't an option. Also our schedule is pretty filled already, so I'm looking to drive maximum 20-30 min to get to this scenic location. Any suggestions? Thanks! Warhippy
Dallas Road to Beacon Hill. If you really want to do it right, walk the Galloping Goose from say Uptown Mall to into Esquimalt, stay on the path hit Café Fantastico and Foi Epi for one of the best latte's and stone fired baking you've ever had, walk it right into downtown Harbour/Parliament onto Dallas along into Beacon HIll park, great views of the coast range Port Angeles etc and Beacon Hill is beautiful see the peacocks and such. Good times. Then walk out of Beacon HIll and hit up Big Bad Johns!

Warhippy
Haha thanks for the tip. Apparently Cafe Fantastico has three locations near Victoria downtown, which location would you recommend? Right now I'm leaning towards the one closest to Fol Epi...

Totes McGoats
I'd get out to Colwood and walk the Esquimalt Lagoon, it's a great view form there also.
King Heffy
True, although depending on time of day and where he's staying, it could take a while to get there. Do not attempt to go to Colwood during rush hour.
