Heretic Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 Yes, because losing Sheldon Souray for the season, for 70 games so far is exactly equivalent to 70 games of Henrik, Daniel, Burrows, Kesler, etc. And as soon as those injured players return to the lineup, the games played are of the same value as any other. They are good as new, as if they hadn't missed a beat...fishbowl and all. It doesn't even matter that the Ducks knew that Souray would probably be out for the whole season before it even started, and made sure they had an adequate replacement to fill his role. An injury is an injury is an injury. ...Yup. Deal with it. Anaheim? Losing plugs isn't the same as losing top line players. Have the Ducks lost Getzlaf and Perry for a significant amount of time?
