Trade chips willing to move, Edler, Kesler, draft picks. Not things top team in draft want or locations NTC willing to move too. And we need to keep youth not trade it.

Yeah it was more of a hail mary request. He looks like the real deal. Gilmour but grown man sized. Amazing.

trading Kesler to Anaheim might eventually give them a 12-0 win in a hockey game

.... not that 9-1 wasn't bad enough

anyways, to be serious here. trading kesler to anaheim will be like.. sedins playing against two corey perrys

Not sure why so many people here are promoting the idea as a way to make Canucks fans happy. Esp. for the ho-hum returns being mentioned.

Oooooh, Vatanen...

As great as Fabbri is his size will keep him out of the top 15.

I've heard scouts comparing him with Jeff Skinner. While Fabbri might not be as heavy as Skinner was when he was drafted, i believe he's definitely tough enough to make the NHL. The guy is 5'10 at the age of 18, which is not that bad. He obviously have to add some muscles to make the NHL, but i think he could be a real home-run. The only negative thing is size, but i really don't think that's a concern with him. If a team really like him, i definitely think he could go top15. Or even top10. He's got high-end talent.

EDIT: I'm also not sold on Vatanen in a potential Kesler trade. Not the prospect i would be looking for.

Etem is a pipe dream IMHO.

Vatanen suits our needs better and will be easier for Anaheim to give up. Vatanen, 10th, 2015 1st.

Even so, I'd prefer, if we need to deal Kesler, a trade happens yo the other conference and definitely not in our division.

I would agree, but Benning spent a lot of time in the NE division. A division notorious for trading players among themselves. I think he will approach the issue very differently than Gillis did.

I guess you are right, they both have high skill/talent levels, and fabbri plays with heart, I just dont see them cracking top 10, top 15 is possibly but I see them as 14-17 range guys this draft.

But you are right this draft is wide open and anyone can go anywhere for sure.

Seeing as the NYI pick is prolly the most intriguing to us all, http://www.lighthousehockey.com/2014/5/28/5757422/my-2014-nhl-mock-draft

Nice to see a mock from their perspective with their fans comments too, lots of comments are pro Nylander and Ehlers, not much MDC chatter, most comments are all in love with Bennett and Draisaitl but not thinking either is a possibility.

There is a serious chance Nylander does go top 5, his U18 performance has drawn so much attention, the fact he played with men all year and put up numbers, his name, plus apparently in his interviews he is just exuding confidence, which in my opinion is powerful to leave lasting impressions on GMs and scouts.

I am feeling the: The Vancouver Canucks are Proud to select with the 6th overall pick in the 2014 draft from the Oshawa Generals, Michael Dal Colle.

I think Theodore is better chance than Vatenan

The Isles have their pick on the market as well, and what's better for them: another prospect or something that can help fill holes for them right now? I've got a proposal around that: [Proposal] Vancouver and New York Islanders

To NYI:

Markstrom

Tanev

Shinkaruk

2014 2nd

To Van:

Strome

2014 1st
