DeNiro
Well, post Luongo era is here. At least now we've finally shown that the problem wasn't him and that he was holding down the fort for the last two years. I agree - time to clean house. If the Sedin's won't take a paycut, ship them out for picks. 4 million each, max. Umm, if by post Luongo era you mean being in a new division with teams that all got better while we didn't, then yea I agree. Luongo is not the difference right now. Having no scorers in the top 90 in league scoring is.
*VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS*
Penalty assessed to #14 Alexandre Burrows. 5 minute major for a hit resulting in an injury to an opposing player. Rule 42.3 Major Penalty: A major penalty, at the discretion of the Referee, shall be imposed on any player who uses his elbow to foul an opponent. A major penalty must be imposed under this rule for a foul resulting in an injury to the face or head of an opponent (see 45.5). If the player is a member of the Vancouver Canucks, a major penalty will automatically be assessed without regard to the foul's severity or lack thereof. A game misconduct penalty may also be assessed if deemed necessary (known as the "Nathan Horton Clause") Lul
M A K A V E L I 96
Highlight of the season is Markstrom's awesome mask. Would look even better without the neon orca and Vaughn logos.

sting
Watched the Burrows hit frame by frame from 2 angles. He better not get suspended. Markstrom needs to play....Lacks regressing....Biron is not a fan....lol Good effort from the top line tonight. Weber, Edler and Stanton stunk. As usual we can't score. The Magician
On another note Jensen was stuffed away by Torts tonight and was invisible like Schroeder. LOL I just remembered what I put in my sig after the their 2nd goal. Good thing it was there for the 3rd one. You want a chair to sit on instead Lack? Honky Cat
Finally glad the playoff watch is over...Big decisions to be made..I remain optimistic though..At the point the Canucks are in now, they have to take a step back to move forward..

Jayinblack
LOL Lack on the 3rd goal "It's a good shot from a good player." Yeah buddy, especially when you're sitting on your ass. Uh, pretty hard to face two NHL all-stars on a 2 on 1. You've got a split second to protect against low corners, 5 hole, while preparing for the feed back to Nash. Marty sniped it by his ear.... no chance..... great shot.

Pretty much every goalie would have played it the same way. Anyone who faults a goalie for a play like that knows very little about the position. Everybody Hates Raymond
Again: The last two times in the last decade they missed the playoffs, they bounced back the next season and won the division. This was when Calgary and Edmonton weren't pushovers, and were just as good as the California teams are today. The amount of hyperbole in this fanbase makes me sick. CrazyAL
Someone not sure but I believe was Staal's forearm to Burrow's head after the hit was far worse, 5mins for that is a joke, doesn't matter either way but still bush league.

Ben Kenobi
"Sedins can't take a paycut" Then they are going to be gone. They dropped off production last year and that has continued this year. Everyone keeps talking about everyone else, but the problem is really simple. Henrik and Daniel Sedin can no longer get it done. If Gillis could move Luongo, he can move the Twins. He should start shopping them now so he can move up in the draft.
