theminister
I gave to admit that I thought it was a questionable call by JG to leave Price in vs Headley. He was already 2/3 against him on the day and it would have been just as good to turn him around as a switch hitter against Sanchez IMO. Oh well...just gotta K the next two. CANUCK-EXPRESS
I blame Gibbons. Why the hell didn't you go to the bullpen right when Price gave up a base runner.
theminister
It's up to the hitters now.
Tom Sestito
Probably because Price is one of the best pitchers in the world and you trust him to get a ground ball. Lol.
Jaimito
Suprised Price is still pitching. I guess it speaks to the magnitude of these games. .... Bad call by Gibbons. Price got hit too many times today, did his job to keep it scoreless to 7.
Tom Sestito
Hindsight. I'd have done the same thing as gibby. Those just misses on the homers from Donaldson, Smoak and Martin suck now. What could have been. Bautista at bat in the 8th was comical
Jiggs50
Bautista at bat in the 8th was comicalThat was the most garbage at bat I've seen from Bautista in a while.
CANUCK-EXPRESS
They just increased whatever little confidence Yanks had. UGHHHHHHH! Get em tomorrow but what a game to lose. 3-0 lead...
Western Red
Tough loss. Gibbons will probably take responsibility in the clubhouse rather that mess with Price or hurt Sanchez. I was glued to that last at bat. What an AB by Tulo. That slider is nuts, but c'mon Revere!
Jaimito
Sanchez give runs when he comes in with man on bases. Hawkins might have been a better choice. Might not give up a homer.
ShakyWalton
They arent going to win them all..first loss in 12-13 games..this game was there but Price gave up way to many hits today..I didnt feel comfortable with him..but..life goes on..time to start another streak and take back 1st. Western Red
Saw Gibby on the front step before the double. Sanchez was ready, might have been an instance where he just trusted Price and preferred to take him out between innings for the fans sake. I hope not though, but if that was the case it'd be great to break that thought before playoffs.
shiznak
I don't like the Jays odds tomorrow. No one on the Jays lineup has had any success against Tanaka They kind of lucked out last week, with those two homeruns.
ckamo
I'm not knowledgable about baseball at all and honestly only started paying attention this season because I moved to Toronto, but can someone explain why all the fans were wearing all their hats upside down? CANUCK-EXPRESS
It feels like Blue Jays are gonna get swept this series. Hopefully not though. Beltran homers again..
