7thMan
Will free agency starting on Tuesday, I was wondering where CDC thinks the big names will go (and for how much. Here's a list of some of the big UFAs (let me know if I've missed anyone important): Forwards: Daniel Alfredsson Mike Cammalleri Mikhail Grabovksi Ales Hemsky Jarome Iginla Jussi Jokinen Milan Michalek Matt Moulson Brad Richards Derek Roy Paul Stastny Thomas Vanek Radim Vrbata Defense: Dan Boyle Christian Ehrhoff Andrej Meszaros Matt Niskanen Anton Stralman Goaltenders: Martin Brodeur Jonas Hiller Ryan Miller For example, a few of my predictions: Forwards: Thomas Vanek - Minnesota, $7.25 million, 7 years Jarome Iginla - Boston, $1 million with $5 million in potential bonuses, 1 year Defense: Anton Stralman - Detroit, $4.5 million AVG, 4 years Goaltenders: Ryan Miller - Vancouver, $4.75 million AVG, 2 years Jonas Hiller - Edmonton, $6.5 million AVG, 5 years

Mr.53
I think you should put Santo on that list. I hope he stays but it's looking less and less likely

Derp...
I would sign Niskanen if it was 4 year term maybe 5. He's got some good years ahead of him still. Might be pricey, but he would make our D core very deep. Not sure about the forwards though. Iggi would be sick to see in a Nucks Uni for a couple years, but I don't think he will want to come here. I could see us landing another solid player the same way Arizona did though. More solid than Ganger hopefully though. Dono who yet, but there are some cap strapped teams who will need to move people for cheap.

Lui's Knob
Looking at the wild rumors and players looking to cash in; it appears the Canucks are going to be pulling up short getting any major UFA tomorrow. Going to see some ridiculous contracts IMO.
