-Vintage Canuck-
Sharks waive Burish for buyout purposes: Though the breakup’s been a long time coming, San Jose and Adam Burish are officially calling it quits. On Friday, the Sharks waived the veteran forward for the purpose of buying out his contract, per Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman. The 32-year-old was heading into the last of a four-year, $7.4 million pact signed with San Jose in 2012. It was clear by actions taken this season that San Jose was no longer interested in keeping the grinding winger’s services. Burish was waived in November and, upon clearing, got dispatched to the American League, where he spent the remainder of the year. All told he played in just 20 NHL contests this year, scoring a goal and three points. Burish was carrying a $1.85 million cap hit and, per Capfriendly, the buyout will result in a hit of $616K this year and the next. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2015/06/19/sharks-waive-burish-for-buyout-purposes/ Assets: Is very industrious, can play a variety of roles and has a lot of grit and feistiness. Finishes his checks and displays sound two-way ability. Flaws: His offensive ability at the NHL level is lacking, so he can't play a greater role up front. Is gritty but does not have the ideal size to be an enforcer. Career Potential: Veteran energy agitator. Miltt
Too bad, never liked him after the rivalry but could still be useful for us. Wouldn't mind JB signing him for something simple like 4 years $2 million per season...

Apple Juice
I honestly forgot about him and what he did to us during our Blackhawks rivalry after 2011. He's pretty much redundant anyways.
