Anybody else looked into TDOC ? I have a feeling this is like the opportunity to buy Tesla in mid March at $200 before it skyrockets.

I just feel like this is how doctors will be doing it in the future...

Anybody have any input ?

A lot of physiotherapists, GPs and surgeons are using similar platforms for consults. It's not as easy as just using zoom due to the increased need for security to protect patient confidentiality. That said, I 100% believe we are going to get a transition to over 50% of people utilizing these services for a more convenient health care experience. People already are. I've used telehealth as a practitioner and patient, it comes with challenges but the convenience and accessibility is unmatched, especially for those in rural areas.

Going to the GP for a prescription, or for a referral, or to a specialist consult (many of which people have to travel) is such a drag. Telehealth is a way more efficient and enjoyable way to utilize these areas of health care. It doesn't allow for a physical assessment obviously but it certainly has a significant role in the future of healthcare delivery.

I don't know about teladoc specifically and am less aware of the happenings from the American perspective. A lot of EMR (Electrical Medical Records) platforms are starting to come out with their own telehealth delivery feature because of the demand. I think there are a few MDs on here so it would be interesting to see if they are using similar services.

So in short, yes I 100% believe there is opportunity in that space but it is relatively new. I would try to gather a handful of companies trying to do offer similar services.

My doctor has been using something like this for years for those who don't want or can't make it into the office.  Wife had used it but I never have (only times I go to doctor is if I need him to completely look at something like a physical injury)

Trump just announced approval of a convalescent plasma treatment - maybe LMNL is a candidate for a day trade tomorrow premarket.

What the hell.. Is this company bi-polar ?

Edit: Yeah i see the all the buzz about this online. It's gonna pop ridiculous tomorrow morning, you can try to catch the ride pre-market but don't get greedy or you will have to catch the falling knife.

Haha it's probably got a low float with repeat pump and dumps. GEVO was great. Easy 200% gain with over 600 million in volume. I'll watch LMNL's volume and see if it's worth the risk.

AAPL is in an absolute tear. You think the split is a good thing?

Yes.

A lot more access for retail investors when it's $120/share.

Though there's a lot of bad info circulating online that "apple will run back up to $300+ post merger".

They don't understand how market caps work.

I will be very very curious to see what happens after the split. If it splits to $120ish a share then every $60 will be another trillion in market cap.. It will likely be a very very very slow climb higher but who knows..

Many retail investors have access to fractional shares. The largest brokerage in the world Fidelity offers fractional shares. As does RobinHood, Interactive Brokers etc. It's not that widespread now but soon all brokers will offer this.

After the split it will be one of the most widely held stocks with a float of 17.1 billion shares. Going to take an awful lot to move it one way or the other.

Agreed with both of you.

Only X factor here is the upcoming election and a lot of hesitant money may just get poured into the "safe" blue chips like Apple closer to October.

Either way, it's in my set it and forget it portfolio. Will check on it when the iPhone XLE 49 with hologram technology comes out
