There's been better players making it through. I'm glad that they're giving the youngsters a chance to prove their worth on the regular season roster. It's super exciting to see a young roster on the Canucks. A nice change of pace. Sven Baertschi, Jake Virtanen, Jared McCann, Ben Hutton, and Bo Horvat on the Canucks? Awesome. They are put on waivers early before the season starts when the waiver market is absolutely flooded with bubble players whether on the rise or on the decline. Great asset management. Hopefully the kids stick. Hutton, McCann, Virtanen and Baertschi making the team is a testament of draft picks (assets) turned into NHL players faster than anticipated. Great asset management.
