We have found that there is evidence of past life on Mars, and yet you don't believe there are aliens somewhere in the universe? There is a massive difference. If the next trip to Mars finds fossils on the surface where water is thought to have existed or actual living organisms underground in still intact aquafiers then thats a game changer. We go from life may be extremely rare in the universe to all you need is the right conditions and materials for a few hundred million years and life finds a way.
