He may not be back next year but this guy hasn't complained all year, plays every shift like his last, understands the youth movement and the direction of where the team is going, helps the young guys all the time on/off the ice and you can tell he's enjoying what could be his last year as a Canuck. THIS TEAM IS PLAYING THE RIGHT WAY AT THE END OF THE SEASON. this is what is freaking frustrating they are playing now the way they should have in freaking december. Willie is not playing guys like Pedan 15 minutes,he is playing them hardly, he is relying on freaking Hamhuis and the veterans to get wins. The most frustrating part is that Benning/Linden don't even seem to know what the frack theyre doing. Rebuild on the fly? Management needs to give their heads a shake.
