Kid just put up back to back 2.0 ppg seasons and is tearing it up in the playoffs with 19 points in 8 games. His choice ahead of others in that spot was a big surprise to many, even at the draft. Heck we got Boeser in the 20s, and he's bigger and better.
ForsbergTheGreat
Specifically for the canucks 1. Mathews-95% 2. Laine-75% 3. Puljujarvi- 75% 4. Tkatchuk- 35% 5. Dubois- 5% 6. Nylander- 5% 7. Sergachev- 0% 8. Chyrchrun- 5% 9. Juolevi -0% As desperate as we are for D none of the D are anywhere close to being NHL ready. They may have the body, but they all need way more fine tuning. Positioning is poor on all of them, but their strength in skating makes it less noticeable in Junior. They would get eaten alive in the NHL Then with the rest of them, they'd really have to outplay some of the other players to make us lose a player for nothing. We have a ton of contracts and only so many roster spots
