I wonder what number he'll year? (Have him in NHL 12 and trying to figure it out) I found out today he wears 10 on team Canada, so I guess he'll likely wear 10 because of that or 26 because of the # he was drafted whenever he makes the team. What do you all think?

how abot you wait a couple years before he challenges for a roster spot

26 sounds likely. :bigblush:

Pretty solid prospect top 6:

71 Jensen - 18 Schroeder - 9 Kassian

61 LaBate - 26 Gaunce - 15 Rodin

And of course all extremely speculatory, we're allowed to fantasize Avelanch.

Gaunce will stick up for his teammates, but he doesn't exactly frighten anyone. He'll hit, but he won't downright lay anyone out. He can score, but he won't dazzle you with moves. Bread and butter player that won't get all uppity like Hodgson, but won't show a lot of upside either. Then again, we heard a lot of the same about Kesler.

Definition of 'safe pick.' He's an NHLer for sure. 3rd or 2nd line. And since he's apparently good all over the ice, he'll likely have the upper hand on a lot of our other prospects. Cheers.

He's got the legs for it, he just needs to work on his stride to build up solid speed.
