The lockdowns are to try to keep as many of these idiots as possible out of the hospital.

Oh they have support from the far right extremists both in Canada and outside the country.  Other than that, not so much.  Sorry if you don't like the fact that most Canadians aren't stupid enough to believe these morons should be taken seriously.

So Singhs brother and first nations people holding a metis flag on the side of the road are far right extremists?

Yeah 70% of hospitalizations are from people who are double vaxxed. Seems like its pointless to mandate it on truckers when they have been fine the last 2 years without it. They pretty much work alone.

Where do I find the source for this 70% stat?

Here is the most recent BC hospitalization numbers posted here yesterday.

Past two weeks, cases hospitalized per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Jan. 11-24)

  • Not vaccinated: 85.2
  • Partially vaccinated: 51.4
  • Fully vaccinated: 20.0

Except to enter the US the would need to be vaccinated.  History is full of mandates for international travel.

Again, the adults have already made the decision.  We even had an election with it being a central issue.  Continuing to throw a tantrum is 10 ply.

Yeah the election they called in the middle of the pandemic? Things change in 6 months. People thought the vaxx would be much more effective. Again 70% of people in the hospital from covid are doubled vaxxed.

What I am saying is do we want to continue down the failed path of mandates/lockdowns, which absolutely do cause damage. Or do we want to try something different, or even think about trying something different?

Tell us your plan then Stan.

Let her rip is NOT a plan.

This is not "let her rip" most people are vaxxed now or have been infected and recovered.

You realize that the few who haven't represent a large number of people.  Them getting infected in a short amount of time can still overwhelm the healthcare system.  So no, let her rip is not a plan.

So far that has not come close to materializing.
