The 19 year old defenseman put up 19 points in 44 SHL games this past season. He is expected to push for a job this coming season in training camp. We remain optimistic he can crack the roster. Since Pietrangelo left the Blues, Faulk has stepped up and produced well. And the Blues probably gave the Avs their hardest test of the playoffs, at least until Binnington got hurt. The end of this contract might be a little tough, but it will be time to blow it up by that point - the window is now. That was the last of the pending free agents that Carolina will be offering contracts to at this time.
