Glad to know they don't peak at the forum....because i think he's already traded a bazzillion times for a hot dog company that makes a good wiener, plus a couple firsts etc.  Like Bruce said - he must be the best actor in the world. Green and Bruce sure seemed good at keeping that stuff out of the dressing room.

Wild Wild (Card) West:

Could be we are about to pass Anaheim and Edmonton soon, which will set us up for an actual playoff spot when we pass Vegas (and even maybe LA).

After that, we have a decent chance to pass Minnesota, which forces them out of the Central's 3rd playoff spot, which will then be filled by Nashville or Dallas most likely.

That opens up a Wild Card spot, which we will be in prime position to achieve.

(Check out the P% Column for an indication of the fragility of these teams we need to pass.)

GO CANUCKS GO!!

they could win the next 7 and still be out of the playoff race

if we win the next 7, we would add 14 points to our current standing. Very likely one of the teams we are chasing could be in our rear mirror. Again, I don't think we will win the next 7, but we need a dominant home stand like a 5-1-1 record.

I hope you’re right. But Bruce has them playing at a .688 clip since he’s taken over. I’m hoping 2 teams falter in front of us.  If Green had them playing .400, we’d be holding the last playoff spot. We’re  still 3 games out, but having a game in hand on Vegas we can get within 2-games back today. :)

Looking at this standings, it's good to see the Canucks have 2 games in hand on the Ducks and the rest of the division basically caught up in games played. Canucks are in a good spot, need to win a lot of games, but with stellar goaltending, anything is possible.

Make up one game a week.

End of Mar, hopefully at the wild card spot.
