I think the Blues are deeper up front, their top 9 is way better than our top 9 this season.

And I feel like Husso is capable of taking his team deep in the playoffs.

Their defence doesn't look as good as it was in their cup year but if I have to pick a team to upset the Avs, I'd pick them.

Their younger players have definitely played better, but players like Schenn/ROR have taken a step back.  Adding Buchnevich has definitely helped them.  Their defense is definitely worse, and Binnington caught fire that season.  Don't think he will ever replicate that again.

Well as a team that needs to fill some serious voids a Miller trade would really make Vancouver stronger in the long run..

I think Miller 29, would bring back Vancouver a good trade package back and make them younger and add some more young skilled players

It might take awhile for those younger players to help the team.  The Canucks are going to retool according to Allvin.  So they need a quick turnaround, 1-2 years.  They're gonna need older prospects, not draft picks.

Can't wait until we have another PGT hi-jacked by traders; this one is in tatters.

DROP THE PUCK (We need to put up some points!)

The next installment of the biggest game of the year.  Hope they keep this streak going!

Binnington is not going to start the playoffs. I'd be surprised if he does. He's Andrew Raycroft: one hit wonder.

But Husso gives off some serious vibes.

Schenn and ROR are still capable of doing the grunt work needed to win in the playoffs. Their younger guys have stepped up big time, I see them as a dark horse (if you can call a 100+ pt team that).

But yeah, their defence is a bit of a suspect. Husso will have to put up Binnington like performances for them to come out of the Central division.

I'd get him over to play in Abbotsford's playoff run. That would be a good experience for him getting a good dose of NA hockey.

He'll be playing in the World Championships.  If he comes over and signs, he might be able to get a few games in for baby Nucks, before heading over for the World Championships.

Oh nice. Guessing he'll probably head out there early May since it begins mid-May. He'll be playing with and against some NHLers. Maybe even with Petey and OEL.

2 weeks till then so I reckon he could just take some time off, relax, do a bit of training and what not. Doesn't have too much time left back home when he decides to sign and come to NA.

They are already training to prepare for the Worlds and he's been added to the group per Dhaliwal.  There are several international games scheduled.  Sweden plays Denmark later this week - 20/21 April.  He still has to secure his spot at the Worlds - those games are typically used to decide who makes the final cut and NHLers are also going to push a few players off the final team.

That would be sweet to see if he has any chemistry with Petey if they can play on the same line together.

If Provorov or Sanheim could play the right side then definitely. Otherwise I'd target Farabee before Konency.

I think they'd see him as a big part of the future tho, with Miller complimenting him.

Whether they'd move him or not is another question, but these are all good players were talking about.

I do like Konecny, but if you don't believe in him then maybe you try for Tippett & a prospect.

I think its really important that we get a solid roster piece back in any Miller deal, its going to hurt to lose him. I'd actually prefer a dman but maybe Konecny makes Garland movable for a d?
