New Jersey Devils (2023 - Pres) New Jersey Devils Trade Report New Jersey Devils (2023 - Pres)

The New Jersey Devils have been fairly active of late on the trade market and as much as there have been talks league-wide the team has put together a few trades recently that should help the club currently as well as provide more security and flexibility down the road.

The team welcomes forward Pavel Zacha to the fold, was a difficult decision to move David Perron but when we were presented with the ability to acquire a first round 25 year old forward on a Playoff club who has yet to fill his potential with much upside we felt it was a prudent move to make. Gone in the deal is also young defenseman Markus Niemelainen, just establishing his role as a physical blueliner at the NHL level he was deemed expendable due to our prospect defensive depth. Thank you to GM @Devron for the smooth negotiations.

Next up the team moved out a second round pick to acquire former first round defenseman Dante Fabbro from the Florida Panthers, we felt the 24 year old while in a tough spot this season still has potential to grow his two way game, an injury on the team or break his way could turn things around for the young blueliner, a risk we are willing to take on the young man. Thanks to GM @Caboose for the ease of negotiations.

The Devils pinned down a trade late last night in acquiring another former first rounder in Colin White, being a pending restricted free agent this gave our club some security in moving out pending unrestricted free agents Charlie Coyle and Joe Snively. The Devils in the exchange also acquired young 2022 draft pick forward Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, whom many argued was the best skater in his draft class, a pure offensive player who will need time to develop his defensive game but a solid prospect we were thrilled to secure. @Relyt Krets, your time working on this deal is much appreciated!

New Jersey still has another deal being finalized over the weekend and discussions ongoing around the league. The team is still considering a move with regards to the goaltenders on the team, Frederik Andersen as well as Scott Wedgewood have both been discussed and the team will consider a move for futures or part of a bigger deal.

Other notables, the team has discussed moving Jon Merrill, Mats Zuccarello, Anthony DeAngelo, and potentially Torey Krug in other deals but nothing concrete in the near future.

Thanks to @Mike Vanderhoek for the smooth negotiations here. This deal came together rather quick and seemed to work out for both of us. We had high hopes for Colin White this season, who started hot but then fizzled. Non the less we wish him the best in New Jersey as well as prospect Aleksanteri Kaskimaki whom we were high on at the draft. Welcome to the team Charlie Coyle and Joe Snively. Charlie we feel is an upgrade and brings the experience we feel that will help our young team in our run to the playoffs. Joe will bring in some depth to our team as well in the event we run into any injury troubles.

Thank you to @theo5789 for this deal. This was a deal that also came together quite quick. John is the big fish we have been trying to catch. Though there is plenty of risk with John being a pending Free Agent this offseason, we felt this deal was worthwhile to make. John and Nick Suzuki will provide us with the 1-2 punch that we believe will put us in the elite category of top center depth in the league. We also felt adding John's leadership will also do us wonders especially for Suzuki, and our other younger players. This was a deal we could not pass up though we lost some very good youth in this deal and potentially only for a rental. We thank Nino and Connor for their time within the organization, and we wish Matyas all the best who we were also very high on at the draft.

Tampa Bay is still shopping for upgrades. Currently we will now shift our focus to the back end. We still have some pieces we are willing to move, including but not limited too - Garnet Hatheway, Connor Dewar, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Jake Wise, Claude Giroux (Currently retained to 3M this year and next), Joe Snively

If there are any teams moving defense, or depth playoff players and have interest in any of those names then feel free to reach out!

I have no idea what the hell font is going on there. No idea. How did I even do that I changed text color......

It's cursive.

We were taught both cursive and printed script in school.

Note books filled with countless sentences.

My son who is only a few months away from being 10 can barely read or write.

Do not send your child to a Steiner school.

I know many people who have pulled their kids from this school, so many my son's grade has to be combined with the one below him.

However I cannot and my ex refuses to agree.
